I test whole tasks, not components in isolation. A confirm dialog can pass a contrast check and still trap keyboard focus.

- Assistive tech
- NVDA, VoiceOver, keyboard only
- Each issue
- Logged with severity, WCAG criterion, steps to reproduce, and a suggested fix. Repeated fixes go into the pattern library.
Standards this site meets
- Meets WCAG 2.2 AA at minimum
- A skip link is the first thing you can tab to
- One H1 per page, with headings in order
- Landmarks: header, nav, main, footer
- Visible focus on every control
- Contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for controls
- Tap targets of at least 44px
- Status never relies on color alone
- Animation respects reduced-motion settings
- Link text names the destination
